At Marine Motion Outboards, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. Below you will find detailed information regarding coverage for both our new and used inventory.

1. New Outboard Motors

All new motors sold by Marine Motion come with full manufacturer-backed limited warranties for recreational use:

• Mercury Marine: 3-Year Standard Warranty + optional Gold Plan (up to 5 years total on select models).
• Suzuki Marine: 5-Year Limited Warranty.
• Yamaha: 3-Year Limited Warranty (Four-Stroke models).
• Honda Marine: 5-Year Non-Declining Limited Warranty.
• Tohatsu: 5-Year Limited Warranty.

2. Used Outboard Motors

We encourage all customers to read the individual listing details carefully. Any specific guarantees or inspection certifications will be noted on the product page.

3. Warranty Registration

To ensure your coverage is active, warranty registration with the manufacturer is required. Upon purchase of a new motor, we will provide you with the necessary registration instructions and documentation to finalize your warranty status.

4. How to File a Claim

If you experience an issue covered under warranty, we are here to support you:

• Contact us immediately with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
• We will assist in coordinating service with the manufacturer or help you locate an authorized local repair center.

5. Exclusions (What’s Not Covered)

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover damages resulting from:

• Misuse, neglect, or accidents (including underwater impacts).
• Unauthorized modifications or installation errors.
• Routine maintenance (oil changes, filters) and normal wear-and-tear.
• Commercial use (unless the motor is specifically rated and purchased for commercial application).
