At Marine Motion Outboards, your satisfaction is our top priority. We stand by the quality of our outboard motors and aim to make every purchase a smooth and confident one. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help—fairly and respectfully.


Test Before You Decide

We understand the importance of peace of mind when buying a motor. That’s why we allow you to gently test the outboard to ensure it runs as expected. However, extensive use or prolonged operation on water may affect return eligibility.


Return Eligibility (within 45 Days)

You may return your motor within 45 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Applies to both new and used outboards

  • The item must be in good condition, with original packaging, manuals, and accessories

  • Light testing is allowed, but returns may be declined if the motor has extensive wear or signs of heavy use


Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Motors with significant signs of heavy use, damage, or improper installation

  • Custom/special orders

  • Items missing parts or packaging


How to Make a Return

1. Request Authorization
Email us at co*****@******************rd.com or call +1 (507) 662-2192 within 45 days of receiving your motor. Please include your order number, model, and reason for return.

2. Return the Item
Once approved, you can ship the item back or bring it to our location. Please use a trackable and insured shipping method.

3. Pack Carefully
Repack all components and clearly mark the Return Authorization number on the outside of the box.


Refunds & Processing

  • Once received and inspected, eligible returns will be refunded (excluding original shipping)

  • No restocking fees

  • Allow up to 10 business days for processing

  • If the motor shows moderate wear, a partial refund may be applied


Exchanges

Prefer a different model? No problem. We’re happy to arrange a hassle-free exchange.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t work properly:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Send photos and a brief description via email

  • We’ll arrange a replacement or free return if your claim is approved


Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless there was an error on our part)

  • Return shipping is typically the buyer’s responsibility, except in cases of damage or defects
